Désormais, les clients souhaitent également des costumes inspirés des mechas Gundam.
Cette fois-ci, devant la quantité de travail et le délai trop court, j'ai demandé de l'aide à un ami pour la modélisation.

New challenge, more work yet the same deadline.
Now the clients would like to have Gundam mecha inspired paper suits.
This time, facing the amount of work and the time running out, I asked a friend of mine to help me for the modeling part.
Une bonne semaine a été nécessaire afin de boucler toute la partie numérique, en partant de la modélisation 3D au dépliage afin de pouvoir reconstruire le modèle, à la manière d'un puzzle.
Cela nous laisse ainsi une petite semaine pour découper, coller et monter deux costumes de robots, deux têtes et deux costumes en papier ; soit l'équivalent d'environ 450 feuilles a4.
Une équipes tournant entre 4 à 8 personnes a été requise pour assembler le tout, à la main. Autant dire qu'il y avait beaucoup à faire, mais on y est arrivé. Merci CLSFX.

It took us a good week to finish the whole digital work, from 3D modeling to paper unfolding.
Hence, leaving us a week to cut, glue and assemble two robot suits, two paper heads and to paper suits : around 450 sheets of paper.
A team around 4 to 8 people worked very hard to get this done in such a small amount of time. There was a lot to do but eventually, we made it, thanks CLSFX.
