Rusted King

Toujours dans une tentative d'expérimentation avec peinture, j'ai réutilisé mon cerf en papier pour tenter de lui donner une finition métallisée. 
Après avoir peint la sculpture en noir, j'ai appliqué de la peinture argentée en utilisant la méthode de dry brush.

Vous pouvez retrouver mes anciens travaux en rapport avec cet animal ici et là.
Oui, j'aime beaucoup les cerfs. 
Cette sculpture était à gagner dans un tombola organisée au cours d'une soirée caritative pour récolter des fonds pour la Ligue contre le Cancer, plus d'infos ici !

I used a previous paper stag I made to keep on experimenting painting techniques. This time, I tried to make it looks like it wad made out of metal. 
After painting it with a few coats of black, I dry brushed it with silver paint.

Après mon cadre Man of Steel, je me devais de m'attaquer au Dark Knight lui-même. 
Design simple, mais efficace. 
Si comme moi cela dit vous restez fan de la version papier, ce Batman inspiré du Dark Knight Returns de Miller devrait vous plaire.

Sur les photos les détails apparaissent blanc mais ont été peint avec de la peinture argentée.

On the pictures the details appear white but they were done with silver paint.

Hurricane Soldier

Petit retour aux cadres avec un stormtrooper de Star Wars. 
Pour ce projet ci, j'ai testé de coloré les parties noires en utilisant un marqueur afin de voir premièrement le rendu et deuxièmement parce que ça me faisait mal de gâcher toute une feuille noire pour si peu. 
Au final, le papier couleur offre toujours un bien meilleur rendu que le marqueur.

Little comeback to frames with a stormtrooper from Star Wars.
For this one, I tried to color the black parts using a black Sharpie, first to see how it would turn out the secondly because it hurt a little to waste a full sheet of black paper for such a small amount. 
In the end, colored paper looks way better than using a Sharpie.
