Dernière commande en date, un Batman inspiré de la version de Frank Miller dans The Dark Knight Returns.
Un Batman vieillit, fatigué et avec un menton bien carré comme on les aimes.

MAXXI GAMES - Claye-Souilly

Et voilà, après plusieurs jours (et nuits..) intenses, toutes les commandes pour le magasin de jeux video MAXXI GAMES de Claye-Souilly dans le 77 sont terminées !
Si vous faites un tour dans ce centre commercial, n'hésitez pas à faire un petit coucou à mes sculptures :) 

On récapitule, vous pouvez ainsi y retrouver : Mario, Ryu, Yoshi, Venom, Vegeta, Son Goku et Hulk.

Here we are, after a few intense days (and nights..), all the commissions for the video game store MAXXI GAMES are done !

Autre personnage de MARVEL avec The Incredible Hulk ! 
Plusieurs visuels reprennent l'idée de Hulk sortant d'un mur, ce qui s'applique parfaitement à l'effet que je recherche. 
Le mur du magasin qui a commandé cette sculpture est jaune, d'où la couleur.

A lot of images show Hulk coming out from walls (destroying them at the same time too) and it's exactly what I'm looking for this next sculpture. 
The walls from the store where he'll be displayed are yellow, hence the color choice.

World Savior

De retour avec un autre personnage de Dragon Ball Z, le grand, le vaillant, Son Goku !
J'ai repris l'idée de faire sortir le personnage du mur comme avec mon Yoshi.

Back with another Dragon Ball Z character, the great, the only, Son Goku !
I used the same "technique" when I made my Yoshi to make it looks like the sculpture is coming out from the wall. 

One to rule them all

Petite "pause" pour un projet perso,  un cadeau tout du moins pour une amie fan du Seigneur des Anneaux. 
Toujours dans le papier, mais cette fois-ci je m'attaque à la découpe à la main !
J'ai utilisé un papier noir avec une texture boisée comme base pour y tracer et découper l'inscription de l'anneau. 
J'ai ensuite placé un papier doré brillant en dessous en laissant quelques millimètres entres les deux, de sorte à créer un léger vide et renforcer l'effet de profondeur. 
Pour le contour j'ai utilisé un papier noir plus épais dont j'ai brûlé les bords. 
Oui, pour ce cadeau je me suis coupé deux trois fois, brûlé les doigts, asphyxié tout seul à cause de la fumée et manqué de mettre le feu à ma maison.
Ah et comme je suis très doué j'ai aussi marché sur la vitre en verre du cadre que j'avais posé tout bêtement.. sur le sol à côté de mon bureau. 
Note à soit même : avant de décider de poser quelque chose de fragile au sol en te disant que tu ne marchera pas dessus; ne le pose pas au sol, tu marchera dessus. 
Mais bon, elle était contente donc ça en valait largement le coup :)

Small "break" for a personal project,  gift for a friend of mine who's a huge Lord of the Ring fan. 
Still working with paper but this time, I'm trying hand cutting !
I used a black paper with a wood texture for the base on which I cut out the writing of the Ring.
I then put some shiny gold paper under it and left few millimeters between the two sheets. 
The top was done with a thicker black paper that I burnt on the edges.
Yup, for this present I cut and burnt my fingers, asphyxiate myself from the smoke and nearly set fire to my house. 
But at least she was super happy with it so It was well worth it in the end :)

Ah Dragon Ball Z.. Ce dessin animé qui a bercé l'enfance de tant de monde occupe une place particulière dans mon petit coeur également. 

Imaginez ma joie quand j'ai vu que Végéta était sur la liste des personnages que MAXXI GAMES voulait que je réalise. 

Ni une ni deux, je me lance sur le projet !

Imagine how I felt when I saw Vegeta's name on the list of characters the video game store wanted me to do.
